China remained the world's largest automotive market in 2025, recording 34.4 million vehicle sales and ranking first globally for the 17th consecutive year. By year-end, China had 366 million registered automobiles and 26.19 million new registrations, of which 12.93 million, or 49.38%, were new energy vehicles.
